Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project team to brainstorm and understand project brief
- Conduct research on relevant material, such as character styles and similar projects
- Present concepts, research, and references to the project team
- Create quick sketch drafts for review
- Produce detailed concept designs in various mediums, such as 2D drawings or 3D renders, based on project brief
- Participate in feedback consultations and make necessary changes
- Develop characters, environments, props, and designs based on feedback
- Manage project timelines and report any issues to supervisor
- Stay updated on design trends and advancements in technology
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in graphic design or fine art preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing artistic and storytelling abilities
- At least 2 years of experience as a concept artist or graphic designer preferred
- Excellent sketching abilities for rough conceptualization
- Proficient in digital 2D and 3D software programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, and Blender
