We are looking for a dependable company driver to help with all transportation tasks. This may include picking up and dropping off employees, collecting packages, and keeping a record of travel time and locations. The driver should also be able to do basic checks on the company vehicle.
In order to be successful as a company driver, it is important to complete all transportation tasks in a timely manner. A good company driver will also make sure all addresses and other important details are correct before doing any pick-ups or drop-offs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive company staff, products, and materials to and from designated locations.
- Help load and unload luggage, products, and materials.
- Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic or construction.
- Report any tickets received while using the company vehicle.
- Make sure the company vehicle is parked in appropriate areas to avoid towing.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Record accurate travel times for the company vehicle.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A clean driving record is important.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes.
- Ability to use maps, GPS systems, and vehicle manuals.
