We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced budtender to help customers choose the right cannabis products. This includes greeting and welcoming customers, letting the manager know about any issues or complaints, and sharing their own experiences with cannabis to help address customer concerns. Budtenders should also be able to answer questions about different types of cannabis, their uses, and how to consume them.
To be a successful budtender, you should stay up-to-date on cannabis laws to make sure the store is following all rules. Most importantly, you should have great communication skills and make sure customers are happy with their purchases.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Helping customers choose the right cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budget, and how they react to different strains.
- Staying updated on new cannabis products and industry trends through research and attending trade shows.
- Using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer payments.
- Making sure the store is clean and organized at all times.
- Educating customers on how to safely use the cannabis products they choose.
- Weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products correctly.
- Checking customers' ID to make sure they are old enough to buy cannabis.
- Keeping track of how much cannabis is in stock and making sure the store always has enough.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a budtender.
- A valid marijuana worker's permit or license.
- Good knowledge of different cannabis strains and their benefits.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
