They will also handle inventory and resources, plan events to attract more customers, maintain quality and safety standards, keep licenses up-to-date, and negotiate contracts with vendors. Other duties include creating schedules, setting business goals to increase profits and customer satisfaction, and effectively managing diverse personalities and resolving conflicts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage bar operations, including maintaining a current liquor license, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing inventory and ordering supplies, handling budgets, and setting goals.
  • Hire and train staff to provide excellent service to customers.
  • Create schedules and resolve conflicts quickly to ensure adequate staffing during busy hours.
