We are looking for a proactive and energetic Assistant Production Manager to help us streamline our production process. In this role, you will assist the Production Manager in assigning materials, equipment, and human resources, as well as overseeing quality control and costs. You may also be responsible for creating production schedules.

To be successful in this position, you should have excellent planning skills and be able to increase production rates. Strong Assistant Production Managers are also effective negotiators and can quickly solve production issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Report to the Production Manager
  • Assist the Production Manager with administrative tasks, such as creating schedules and timesheets
  • Manage labor and procure materials to ensure a smooth production process
  • Create cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
  • Oversee quality control throughout the production process
  • Ensure production is completed on time
