We are looking for an experienced application support engineer to monitor and maintain our software applications. In this role, you will report to our senior software engineering team, work with colleagues, and move code successfully. You will also provide IT support to our clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Helping the senior engineer with software application support.
- Analyzing software application performance and giving suggestions for improvement.
- Making sure the front-end and back-end of applications work well.
- Working with the software development team, internal users, and clients to make applications perform better.
- Moving code between different environments to keep everything running smoothly.
- Finding the cause of any application errors and telling the senior engineer about serious issues.
- Recording any changes made and scheduling updates.
- Writing down processes and keeping an eye on how well the application is working.
- Helping clients and colleagues in other departments with any front-end issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a similar field.
- Proven experience as an application support engineer in a related job.
- Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages like C++, Javascript, Python, and Ruby.
- Ability to move code, write down changes, and keep track of performance.
- Excellent at helping people in other departments and web-based clients with front-end issues.
- Very good at finding the cause of application errors and fixing them.
- Knowledge of Advanced Encryption Standards (AES).
- Ability to stay up-to-date with new ideas for application design.
- Excellent communication skills.
