Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 20-30 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Remote (India)

JobType: full-time

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and implement sustainable solutions aligned with business goals and technical standards

2. Build, deploy, and support robust CI/CD pipeline automation tailored to account-specific and organizational needs

3. Participate in the design, deployment, and operational support of cloud, containerized, and on-premise platforms

4. Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions for internal teams and external clients

5. Monitor service health and performance using SLI/SLO metrics and proactively respond to incidents to ensure SLAs are met

6. Contribute to planning, team structure, project management activities, and support initiatives

7. Actively commit code and collaborate with team members to continuously improve system reliability and delivery speed

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Possess 4+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering or similar DevOps roles

2. Demonstrate hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git and Pull Requests

3. Show proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, PHP, or Shell scripting

4. Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI

5. Understand AWS cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration

6. Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform

7. Be familiar with monitoring and alerting tools like New Relic, Pingdom, or PagerDuty

8. Apply knowledge of the twelve-factor app methodology for building scalable SaaS applications

9. Exhibit strong command-line skills including shell scripting and regular expressions

10. Communicate and collaborate effectively within teams
