Your Career

This position is responsible for Palo Alto Networks? (PANW)?s Infrastructure Platform Engineering org to join an innovative and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and deploying scalable, secure and efficient microservice solutions for Infrastructure.

You will work with a team of software developers writing great quality software to create digital visibility and action taking mechanisms for PANW's global infrastructure on cloud and on-prem.

Your Impact

Software Development - Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure services across infrastructure verticals such as Network, Compute, DB,etc.

System Design - Implement complex systems with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability, applying best practices such as unit tests and following design patterns.

Microservices Development - Build and support production-grade microservices using REST API frameworks such as Flask, Django, etc.

Cloud Platforms - Leverage public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to build and deploy software while ensuring high availability and performance

Orchestration & Optimization - Implement infrastructure orchestration services and frameworks to optimize deployment pipelines and reduce manual effort

Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams including SREs, Network Engineers, product teams, and security engineers to align development efforts with business objectives

Critical Thinking - Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in software and infrastructure engineering

Your Experience

+ BE/B.tech computer science engineering degree is mandatory or equivalent military experience required

2 to 5 years of strong experience in Python OR GoLang OR JAVA (OOPS).

Strong experience in data structure, algorithm, design architecture, distributed Systems.

Knowledge of MySQL databases, Bigquery, CI/CD, Github is preferred.

Critical thinking and analytical approach to problem solving

knowledge of Linux/Unix, GCP/AWS cloud knowledge (Good to have)

Basic knowledge of firewalls technologies (Good to have)
