Full Charge Bookkeeper

You will work closely with our Procurement Specialist and our Accounting Manager in the department's daily operations. You will be an important and exciting part of our continued growth path. We are looking for a bookkeeping professional with solid A/P and A/R experience, who wants to grow with us. We are looking for a strong team player who has solid bookkeeping and people skills. The ideal person will be able to work efficiently with technologies such as QuickBooks, Excel and ConnectWise PSA tool and other integrations that we use to streamline our billing process and have the desire to learn much more. Requirements

• Manage the AP process to include: audit, enter and process all vendor bills, weekly check runs

• Prepare and send out all client invoicing through an automated process using ConnectWise to include, monthly recurring invoices, after hours, block time overage, and project invoices

• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed paymentsregular on-going collection efforts

• Handle and process incoming payments (checks, electronic payments to include bank runs as needed)

• Prepare and process monthly sales tax analysis and payments

• Input and process monthly expenses associated with company credit cards

• Audit and Input weekly expense reports from employees

• Assist in set up of recurring billing / agreements in Connectwise back up Acctg Manager as needed

• Assist the Acctg Mgr in ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and month end processes
• Assist the Acctg Mgr to provide accurate reports and metrics to the company management

• Assist Acctg Mgr with month end journal entries as needed
• Back up Procurement Specialist as needed
• Assist as needed in vendor negotiations for best pricing and services while establishing and maintaining great relationships
• Assist as needed to ensure equipment orders are properly handled and fulfilled in time
• Work with other employees at all levels and from other departments as needed
• Participate in group discussions, meetings, work teams, company staff meetings and events
• Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University
• Various ad hoc responsibilities

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of A/P and A/R functions as well as solid understanding of general ledger accounts.

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software

• The ability to use ConnectWise CRM, Quosal for sales and service

• Working knowledge of payment portal site ConnectBooster

• Proficient in general office applications and accounting software

• Strong data entry skills

• Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

• Skill in preparing written communications.

• Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations

• 4+ years of bookkeeping and/or related experience.

• Experience working in an IT MSP environment is a strong plus
• Procurement experience with distributors is a plus
