Position Overview:

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care under nursing supervision, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment in healthcare facilities located in six different New Mexico counties, includingAlbuquerque, Las Vegas, Roswell, Truth or Consequences, Santa Clara, and Los Lunas .This role is critical in delivering compassionate, hands-on care to diverse patient populations in healthcare facilities throughout these regions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of a state-approved nurse aide training program.
• Licensure: Current CNA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in taking vital signs, patient hygiene assistance, and documentation.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, compassion, patience, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Transfer and reposition patients safely.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Support medical procedures as directed.
