Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic AVP Product Design to lead our UX and product design initiatives across digital platforms. This is a senior leadership role for a creative, analytical, and user-focused professional with deep expertise in user experience (UX) , interaction design, and team leadership. As AVP of Product Design, you will play a critical role in shaping user-centered product strategies, design systems, and experiences that delight customers and drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the end-to-end user experience strategy across products and platforms, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of UX/UI designers, researchers, and design strategists.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders to translate vision into innovative, intuitive, and elegant product experiences.
• Champion a user-first mindset throughout the organization by advocating for UX best practices, user research, and accessibility standards.
• Establish scalable design systems, workflows, and governance to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.
• Own and evolve UX metrics, usability testing processes, and feedback loops to continuously measure and improve product experience.
• Stay ahead of UX trends, technologies, and industry best practices to inspire innovation and elevate design maturity.
• Manage design priorities and resources across a portfolio of initiatives, balancing speed, quality, and strategic impact.
• Present and communicate design rationale and user insights effectively to senior stakeholders and executives.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in UX/Product Design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior managerial role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking, complex problem-solving, and a range of successful digital products.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, user research, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals.
• Hands-on expertise in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional product development environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and execution.
• Passion for mentoring and developing design talent.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing enterprise or SaaS platforms at scale.
• Familiarity with data visualization, accessibility (WCAG standards), and mobile-first design.
• Exposure to design thinking workshops, innovation frameworks, or service design.
